AUP Enforcement Controls
Stripe asked how SRVED identifies and detects violations of our Acceptable Use Policy. This page describes the controls that run in the product. The AUP restricts age (21+), illegal acts, all sexual content (consensual and non-consensual, including private messages), child sexual exploitation or abuse, sexual violence, non-consensual content, aiding, abetting, encouraging, assisting, or facilitating the abuse or exploitation of any person, including human trafficking and trafficking for sexual exploitation, and scam activity intended to defraud members.
1. Age controls
- SRVED is 21+ only. Signup, Terms, the AUP, and the public site all state that. Military service does not lower the age. We do not accept service members under 21.
- Before a real member is discoverable they complete Stripe Identity: a government photo ID plus a live matching selfie. Stripe checks the document and that the face matches. We then read the verified date of birth. Under 21, including a service member under 21, means the account cannot match. 21 or older means the age on the card is taken from the ID.
- We do not run criminal background checks or workplace verification. Identity here means the ID is real, the face matches it, and the person is 21 or older.
2. How violations are identified
Member reports. Block and Report sit on profiles, Connect, and Roster. A report is write-only: the reporter cannot read it back, and the reported person is not told who filed. Reasons include harassment or threats; made me feel unsafe; impersonation; spam / selling; not a shift worker; and a free-text “something else” field for trafficking, sexual violence, non-consensual imagery, or child-exploitation reports.
Inbound mail. Anyone can email hello@srvedlove.com or legal@srvedlove.com. Child sexual exploitation reports may go to the legal address. Signed-in members can also open a safety ticket.
Volume limits that cut abuse. One free shot per rolling day. Pass is silent. Roster tabs expire (96 hours). There is no swipe deck and no infinite feed. Those limits reduce spam, romance-fraud, and mass contact.
3. Immediate technical controls
Blocking is enforced in the database. If either person blocks the other they disappear from each other’s match results, existing shots between them are purged, new shots are rejected, and the blocked person is not told who blocked them. Matching never shows another person’s full work week — only shared off windows — and workplace names are not a profile field.
4. Human review and enforcement
Reports land in an admin operations queue. Application roles cannot select the reports table. A background job checks open reports about every ten minutes and emails the operator. A person reviews the report. Outcomes include no action, content removal, warning, suspension, or account termination. We may preserve records and report child sexual exploitation to NCMEC and law enforcement as required. See law-enforcement protocols.
We do not claim automated CSAM classifiers or criminal background checks. We do claim: Stripe Identity before a member is discoverable (government ID, matching selfie, and a date of birth of 21 or older, with no exception for service members under 21), a public AUP, in-product reporting, server-side blocks, a human queue, and a published law-enforcement channel.
