Terms of Service
By creating an account you agree to these Terms, our Acceptable Use Policy, and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use SRVED. This is a product agreement, not legal advice. Questions: privacy@srvedlove.com.
1. Acceptance and eligibility
You must be at least 21 years old. SRVED is not offered to anyone 18–20, including active-duty, reserve, and veteran service members. Military service does not lower the age. We do not accept service members under 21. You represent that you meet this requirement. Before you can appear in matching we verify a government photo ID and a matching selfie through Stripe Identity and confirm the extracted date of birth is 21 or older.
SRVED is built for hospitality professionals and other people who work shifts. Be who you say you are. Do not treat the app as a recruiting board, a venue review site, or a place to expose someone’s workplace. We may suspend accounts that fail these Terms.
2. Account registration and security
- One person per account. No bots, fake personas, or borrowed photos.
- You are responsible for your credentials and for activity under your account. Contact privacy@srvedlove.com if you think someone else is in it.
- We may refuse or require extra verification when we have a good-faith safety or integrity reason.
3. User conduct and content
You must follow the public Acceptable Use Policy. That AUP is part of these Terms. It restricts age (21+), illegal acts, all sexual content (consensual and non-consensual, including private messages), child sexual exploitation or abuse, sexual violence, non-consensual content, aiding, abetting, encouraging, assisting, or facilitating the abuse or exploitation of any person, including human trafficking and trafficking for sexual exploitation, and scam activity intended to defraud people on SRVED.
Abuse or exploitation of any person. You may not aid, abet, encourage, assist, or facilitate the abuse or exploitation of any person, including human trafficking and trafficking for sexual exploitation. This prohibition applies universally across the entire SRVED platform — including profiles, photos, display names, bios, Hub posts, private messages, matching, Roster, paid features, and any other use of the service on or off the application.
Human trafficking, including trafficking for the purpose of sexual exploitation. You may not use SRVED to engage in, advertise, arrange, recruit for, pay for, or otherwise facilitate human trafficking, including trafficking for the purpose of sexual exploitation, commercial sexual exploitation, sex trafficking, escorting for pay, or prostitution. You may not recruit workers or dates as a cover for trafficking. We cooperate with law enforcement on trafficking reports.
You also agree not to harass, threaten, stalk, or coerce anyone; aid, abet, encourage, assist, or facilitate the abuse or exploitation of any person, including human trafficking and trafficking for sexual exploitation; use hate speech or content that promotes violence; post or send any sexual content — including in private messages, whether consensual or not — any sexual content involving minors, or non-consensual intimate imagery; spam, scrape, crawl, or reverse-engineer except as the law allows; or use SRVED for commercial solicitation, prostitution, trafficking, scams, or leaking private information.
You keep ownership of content you submit. You grant SRVED a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt for formatting, display, and distribute that content solely to operate, secure, and improve the service. The license ends when the content is deleted from our systems, except residual copies and records we must keep.
4. Interactions with other users
We verify a government photo ID and a matching selfie through Stripe Identity for age and impersonation. We do not conduct criminal background checks or workplace verification. We are not responsible for the conduct of any user on or off the application. You interact at your own risk. Read Trust & Safety. If you are in danger, contact emergency services.
5. Premium services, subscriptions, and billing
SRVED may offer paid features, including SRVED Pro (a recurring membership that includes Lock in a date, Keep the Tab Open, and one profile read), Double Shots (“Make it a double”), a profile read, and “Buy a round,” plus other products shown at checkout. Lock in a date and Keep the Tab Open are part of Pro, not separate checkout products. Pro includes one profile read. A later read is the price shown at checkout. Shot tokens, the profile read, and other one-time payments do not open or extend a chat. The price, currency, and term at purchase control that transaction. Virtual items have no cash value outside SRVED. The store that took your payment is the merchant of record: Apple, Google, or Stripe (on behalf of SRVED) for web.
5.1 Auto-renewing subscriptions
Premium subscriptions such as SRVED Pro automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Renewal uses the payment method on file with that store.
Deleting the SRVED app, signing out, or deleting your SRVED account does not cancel a subscription. Billing continues until you cancel with the store that charged you.
5.2 Cancel — Apple App Store
Cancel in your Apple ID account settings (Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, or reportaproblem.apple.com). SRVED cannot cancel an App Store subscription for you. You typically keep access until the end of the paid period.
5.3 Cancel — Google Play
Cancel in the Google Play Subscriptions center (Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions). SRVED cannot cancel a Play subscription for you. You typically keep access until the end of the paid period.
5.4 Cancel — web / Stripe
Sign in at app.srvedlove.com, open You → Pro, and tap Manage billing to open Stripe’s customer portal. Cancel auto-renewal there. You keep Pro until the end of the current period. Email privacy@srvedlove.com if the portal will not open; we still cannot cancel Apple or Google subscriptions from that inbox.
5.5 Refunds — Apple
SRVED cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases. Apple is the merchant of record. Request a refund from Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com or Apple Support). Apple decides under its policies.
5.6 Refunds — Google Play
Play charges are billed by Google. Request refunds through Google Play. SRVED does not refund Play charges in-app. Digital goods are generally non-refundable once delivered. Where Google’s policies or law require a refund, Google processes it. SRVED has no obligation to grant a Play refund for partial periods or unused tokens except where Google or the law requires it.
5.7 Refunds — Stripe / web
Web purchases through Stripe are strictly non-refundable for partial months, unused subscription time, unused tokens once credited, and one-time features once delivered, except: (a) where a statute requires a refund we cannot waive, including EU/UK 14-day cooling-off rights if they apply and have not been lost by requesting immediate performance of a digital service; and non-waivable US state consumer laws; (b) where we expressly credit an unused paid shot that expires under in-product rules — that is not a cash refund of a Pro month; (c) card network disputes handled by Stripe do not create extra SRVED credits.
5.8 Price changes
We may change prices. For auto-renewing subscriptions we will give advance notice before the new price applies to a renewal. You may cancel before it takes effect. If you do not cancel, the next renewal is at the new price. Completed one-time checkouts are not repriced.
5.9 Free trials and promotions
A free trial or promo converts to a paid auto-renewing subscription at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, through the same Apple, Google, or Stripe path that started it. One trial per offer, per store account, unless we say otherwise. We may revoke a trial for abuse.
5.10 Taxes and fees
You are responsible for applicable taxes, duties, and store or processor fees. Displayed prices may be exclusive or inclusive of tax depending on the store and your location. Foreign-transaction and carrier fees are yours.
6. Intellectual property
The SRVED name, lockup, software, design, copy, and proprietary matching and scheduling methods (including overlap ranking and coarsened shared windows) are owned by SRVED or our licensors. You may not copy or exploit them except as needed to use the service. Feedback may be used without obligation to you.
7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not guarantee matches, dates, uptime, or that another member’s statements are true.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SRVED WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) $100 USD. Where local law forbids these limits, liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted.
8. Account termination
You may request deletion as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms or presents a safety risk — including without refund of unused tokens or prepaid time, except where law or a store requires otherwise. Survival clauses (records, disclaimers, liability, disputes) remain in effect.
9. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States of America, excluding conflict-of-law rules, except where consumer law in your residence requires otherwise.
Binding arbitration. Except for small-claims court or IP injunctions, you and SRVED agree to resolve disputes through binding individual arbitration, not a jury trial.
Class action waiver. You and SRVED waive class, collective, or representative actions. Claims may be brought only individually. If this waiver is unenforceable as to a claim, that claim may proceed in court and the rest of this section still applies.
