Privacy Policy
This is a product document, not a substitute for advice from your own lawyer.
The short version
SRVED is a schedule-first dating and networking product for hospitality professionals and other people whose weeks do not look like 9-to-5. We collect what we need to match you on the hours you actually have off. Real members pass Stripe Identity (government photo ID and a matching selfie) before they are discoverable. We do not sell your personal information. Your full work week never leaves the server — other members only see shared windows.
1. Information we collect
You must be at least 21. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21.
- Account data — email, hashed password, and sign-in method (email/password or Google / Facebook OAuth).
- Standard profile data — display name, photos, age, gender, height, bio, neighborhood or city, and other details you put on your card.
- Location — a location you set (and, if you allow it, device location) so we can show people close enough to meet. We do not publish your exact address or the name of the venue you work.
- Hospitality and work context — trade or industry, role (server, cook, bartender, front desk, and similar), kind of workplace, and related fields you provide. These are not a public employee directory.
- Work schedules — the blocks you mark as off. If you paste a private calendar URL from a roster tool, we fetch it only to map shifts onto your week. Only the overlap ever leaves the server. The full calendar is never shown to another member.
- Shots, messages, and hub posts — content you send after a mutual shot, and posts or replies in Industry Hub.
- Safety and usage data — blocks, reports, settings, device type, IP address, and timestamps.
- Payments — Stripe (web) or the app stores process charges. We receive confirmation and entitlements; we do not store full card numbers.
2. How we use information
- Schedule-first matching — rank by shared off-hours, show only the overlap, power Roster after a mutual shot.
- Verify and protect accounts — 21+ eligibility, authentication, reports, spam, and fake profiles.
- Improve the platform — reliability and bugs. We do not use your SRVED data to train general-purpose AI models.
- Communicate updates — in-app notices and optional email you enable.
- Process purchases you choose. Comply with law when required.
3. How information is shared
Your card can show name, photos, age, industry, role, neighborhood, and fields you add. Discovery and Roster name shared windows only — never another person’s full week or workplace name.
We do not sell your personal information to advertisers, data brokers, or anyone else for money. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Providers receive only what they need: Supabase, Cloudflare, Stripe, optional email, and Google or Facebook if you use those buttons. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect people from serious harm, or in a sale of the business with safeguards.
4. Your rights and controls
- Access and update — edit profile, photos, schedule, and discovery in the app.
- Visibility — turn discovery off. Choose what appears on your card.
- Block — silent and immediate. Nobody is shown who blocked them.
- Export or delete — email privacy@srvedlove.com. We delete or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period, except records we must keep for law, safety, or payments.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (correct, restrict, appeal). We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
5. Data security
We use HTTPS, authenticated access, and server-side schedule intersection so a stranger cannot read your full week from the client. Location is coarsened for matching. No system is perfect. If an account is compromised, contact privacy@srvedlove.com.
6. Cookies and tracking
We may use cookies, local storage, and similar tools to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure basic traffic, and catch errors. These are operational, not an ad network. You can block cookies in your browser; some features may stop working. We do not use your SRVED profile to retarget you across the open web. Sign-in and payment providers may set their own cookies.
7. Changes and contact
We may update this policy, post it here, and change the date above. Continued use after that date means you accept the update, except where extra consent is required.
